Tension is the actors enemy, but how do you keep tension from coming into your performance. In this class, not only will you learn about common reasons for tension, but we will start working on how to remove those blocks that are creating tension and limiting you from doing your best work. Ages 13 -17 with approval.

TV/Film Audition Bootcamp
Auditioning is a skill. A skill rarely taught by drama schools. This is NOT a workshop where you receive some tips and advice and are sent on your way. This is an Intensive. This is about changing the way you audition forever. This is about enabling you with the skills to audition consistently and masterfully. Amy will break the auditioning process down, and then equip you with the tools and an arsenal to send you into any room ready to do your work and book.
What you will learn:
~ How get your work done in the audition room and conquer nerves
~ Approaching audition material and how to break it down
~ Know how to audition for TV: Co-Star, Guest Star, Series Regular
~ Learn how film and TV auditioning differ. The dos and don’ts.
~ Step-by-step instructions on how to do a top-notch self-tape, and the traps to watch out for!
~ What is a dummy side? How to approach a technical audition.
~ Amy will also address markets - L.A., Atlanta, NYC & New Mexico. The right head shots.
Casting websites. Building a reel vs. clips The difference between an agent and manager, and
how to get one. Social media and a marketing plan.
Class size is limited. Ages 14+ will be allowed with the disclosure of adult language in the workshop.

Shakespeare Unleashed
Love Shakespeare or dread Shakespeare, this class will help you unleash your inner Bard. You will learn how to perform classical text with ease and confidence upping your audition game. Must have a memorized monologue to work with in class. Ages 13 -17 with approval.
